Mailrecord is a diagnostic tool that checks published DNS records for a domain you specify. This policy describes what information is handled and how.

What we collect

Mailrecord does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no registration, no login, and no saved preferences. The domain you enter and any DKIM selectors you provide are sent directly to the DNS lookup service and are not persisted beyond the lifetime of your request.

Cookies

Mailrecord does not set any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The site does not use third-party analytics services. No cookie consent banner is needed because no cookies are used for purposes that require consent.

Third-party services

DNS lookups are performed via Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8) over standard DNS-over-TCP. Google's DNS resolver receives only the domain name and record type — no identifying information about you. Google's privacy policy applies to that interaction. No other third-party service receives data from your use of this tool.

Data retention

No data is retained. Each lookup is standalone. The response is delivered to your browser and is gone from the server as soon as it is sent.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or export. If you have questions about this policy, contact the operator.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. No separate notification will be sent.

Note on legal entity: A legal entity (company or individual) that operates this service has not yet been registered. The operator will update this policy with the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone.
